Antonia Caicedo Holguín (b. 1997, Cali, Colombia) is a London-based painter whose figurative work is grounded in lived experience. She paints people and places with emotional clarity and intensity, using scale, color, and composition to examine relationships; familial, cultural, and psychological. Working across an ambitious range of scales—from intimately small to monumental scale—she builds images where emotion is not surface detail, but structure: essential, deliberate, and unapologetic.
Her palette is warm and unexpected, shifting intuitively with each subject. Working across both indoor and outdoor settings, her paintings hold tension, intimacy, and presence in equal measure.
Caicedo Holguín holds an MA from the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, and has exhibited internationally. Recent solo exhibitions include Uplifted at Incubator Gallery in London (2024), This Seat is Taken at LKIF Gallery in Seoul (2024), and Before and After Coffee at Galería de la Aduana in Barranquilla, Colombia (2021). She has also shown work in New York and at the Miami Art Fair. Her practice has been featured in Forbes, The Art Newspaper, and on Yale University Radio’s Museum of Non-Visible Art.
